As one of the most important activities for the teachers, students and alumni from the department of tourism at Nankai University to celebrate the centennial of the university, on October 27, the Nankai Tourism Alumni Association and the College of Tourism and Service Management jointly held the 2019 Nankai Tourism Summit Forum of "New century, New tourism". With the theme of "New opportunities brought by cultural and tourism integration", this forum has contributed a high-level ideological feast to nearly 100 guests from government sectors, academic institutions and industry organizations in the tourism industry. The cross-border integration of culture, science and technology, finance and real estate, and the transformation and upgrading of traditional cultural and tourism industries have become the consensus of the participants.

 

The Nankai Tourism Summit Forum is held once a year, aiming to become a smart platform that reflects Nankai's responsibility, leads the industry direction and serves China's development. According to the decision of the forum presidium, the 2020 Nankai Tourism Summit Forum will be held in Chongqing, and President Wang Chunfeng will award the flag to Hu Jun of Chongqing Alumni Association. The first Nankai Tourism Summit Forum came to a successful conclusion.
