Publish

ü Our teachers have published 105 papers, including 51 CSSCI papers and 54 SSCI and SCI papers (including 20 papers in high-quality academic papers in Category I and 23 papers in high-quality academic papers in Category II in the catalogue of high-quality achievements in tourism management.

ü In addition, our teachers have published 42 conference papers, 7 monographs and 5 think-tank reports.

 

Award

ü The Provincial-Ministry Collaborative Centre for Modern Tourism Development of Nankai University was successfully selected into the "List of the First Batch of Pilot Units for the Construction of Think Tanks in the Culture and Tourism Industry".

ü Professor Li Hui was invited to be a member of the editorial board of an international authoritative academic journal on tourism management.

ü Professor Li Hui was appointed by the Youth Working Committee of Municipal Federation of Social Sciences and was included in the list of 2% of the world's top scientists.

ü Associate Professor Liang Sai was awarded the “Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence” for his research published in the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, a leading journal in hospitality management.

ü Professor Xu Hong with her team's research paper is among the top 10 in the world in terms of number of downloads.

ü The "Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching System of Hotel Operation Management" developed by the Tourism Experimental Teaching Center won the Third Prize of the National University Teachers' Self-made Experimental Teaching Instrument Innovation Competition.

ü Associate Professor Tuo Yanzhen with her team won the Second Prize of Excellent Conference Paper at the Annual Conference of China Tourism Science 2021.

ü Professor Li Hui's research won the Third Prize of the 17th Tianjin Social Science Excellent Achievement Award.

ü Professor Yao Yanbo's research team won the Excellent Conference Paper of 2021 <Tourism Tribune> China Tourism Research Annual Conference.

ü The academic papers of Professor Yao Yanbo and associate professor Tuo Yanzhen won the Third Prize on excellent research achievements in culture and tourism in 2021 respectively.

ü Associate Professor Huang Jing's team won the Best Paper Award at the 3rd International Tourism and Retail Service Management Conference (TRMC 2021).

 

Conference

ü The college and the International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) jointly organised the IFITT Talk @Nankai PhD workshop with the theme of " Smart Tourism, We Are on the Way ".

ü The college co-organised the 3rd International Tourism and Retail Service Management Conference (TRMC 2021).
