Academic experience

Dr. TUO Yanzheng is the associate professor of College of Tourism and Service Management in Nankai University, the associate director of Silk Road Tourism Research Center. She is the research fellow of the Collaborative Innovation Center for the Development of Modern Tourism, and the director of China National MTA Education Supervisory Committee.

Her research interests focus on the tourist wellbeing, AI and tourist wellbeing, tourist experience, destination marketing, silk road and tourism, etc. She has published more than 20 articles in major academic journals and conference. She has hosted the National Natural Science Foundation project, and participated in several research projects of Major Project of National Social Science Foundation of China and National Natural Science Foundation, Social Science Foundation of Tianjin etc. She has served as journal reviewer for Tourism Tribute, Nankai Management Review and Tourism Science, etc.

Industry experience, including industry related professional development

In recent five years, Dr. Tuo and her team finished more than 10 Government Consultation research projects for China National Tourism Administration, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of The People’s Republic of China and some local government. From 2015 to 2016, She also worked at China National Tourism Administration and participated many tourism diplomacy and national tourism promotion activities of China.
