Academic experience
Dr. QIU wei, Associate Professor, College of Tourism and Service Management, Nankai University, mainly engages in the research of service management, tourism and brand marketing, and lectures on Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Service Innovation. She has published several monographs and nearly 20 papers in such important academic journals as Tourism Tribune, Management World, Nankai Business Review, Journal of Management Science and Journal of Marketing Science. She is the director and principle participant of many projects including the National Social Science Fund of China, Ministry of Education Fund, National Tourism Administration Foundation and Tianjin Social Science Fund. She is rewarded of the titles of the Outstanding Youth Award of China Tourism Education (2018), the Youth Expert in Tourism Industry of China Tourism Administration (2014), the National May 1 Labor Medal of Tianjin (2013), and the First Prize of the 11th Youth Teacher Competition in Tianjin (in the Field of Economics and Management) (2012). She is an anonymous reviewer for several academic journals such as Nankai Management Review.

Dr. Qiu actively participates in projects funded by governments and enterprises aiming to enhance the development of global tourism, including Case study on high-quality development of Tea Ceremony culture and Tourism of China-Russia-Mongolia Wanli, Development report of Chinese Foreign trade brands, pre-feasibility study report on strategy and positioning of Tianjin National Exhibition Project jointly built by the Ministry and the city, Lijiang city brand integration and promotion, Bohai Bank brand and corporate culture planning.
