Academic experience

The research interest of Professor SHi includes tourism development strategy and planning, contemporary tourism, tourism synergy innovation, whole domain tourism, red tourism, new economy, and regional development. Professor SHi has published 39 articles in the related areas. He has presided over more than 200 tourism development plans and more than 50 tourism research projects. In addition, he has participated in more than 30 national natural science foundation projects, such as global climate change, geo strategic research, regional economic development planning, and more than 30 regional urban development planning and ecological environment research projects.

 

Industry experience, including industry related professional development

Professor Shi has excellent experience in tourism planning and has been involved in many significant tourism development plans and destinations, such as the national red tourism development plan, Yuntai Mountain tourism destination in Henan Province; Penglai tourism destination; Qionghai Global Tourism Destination and Qionghai mode, etc.
