On September 5, 2017, the National Tourism Administration listed the College of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University as the "Research Institute for Red Tourism Innovation and Development ". It aims to strengthen the construction of the red tourism talent team, build the theoretical system and discourse system of China's red tourism, improve the theoretical research level of red tourism innovation and development, and provide expert support and intellectual support for the development of red tourism. The main experts of the Institute have completed three phases of the National Red Tourism Development Plan Outline, (2004-2010, 2010-2015, 2016-2020),Research on Red Tourism Development, Research on Red Tourism Promotion Innovation, Research on Red Tourism Innovation and Development,Research on Red Tourism Internationalization, and other related planning and research projects.
