On October 25, 2023, our college welcomed a six-member delegation led by Professor Xu Zhongwei, Vice Dean of the School of Tourism and Science at Beijing International Studies University (BISU), for an academic exchange and visit. The delegation was received by our college's Dean, Professor Xu Hong, along with Associate Professor Huang Jing, Head of the Tourism Department, Associate Professor Liang Sai, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department, Associate Professor Zhou Jie, Head of the Exhibition Economics and Management Department, Associate Professor Wang Jingna, Deputy Head of the Exhibition Economics and Management Department, and Associate Professors Cheng Hongbo and Xu Chunqiu from the same department.

During the meeting, our faculty members highlighted recent developments and achievements in Tourism Management and Exhibition Economics and Management. The session facilitated a mutual exchange of insights and experiences in program development, undergraduate training program design, and practical internships. Both parties discussed challenges encountered in these areas and brainstormed potential solutions. In closing, Dean Xu Hong warmly welcomed the visitors and proposed ideas and strategies for future collaboration in program development.

This exchange served not only to showcase our college's progress in program development but also to strengthen the impact of our Tourism Management and Exhibition Economics and Management programs. It laid the groundwork for a collaborative platform between our college and peer institutions, promoting high-quality development in these academic areas.
