The exhibition area on the first floor of the college hall is specifically designed to meet the needs of the major ofMICE economy and management. Students and faculty from the Department of MICE Economy and Management are invited to participate in the updating of the environment, scene, and space construction, allowing students to apply what they have learned. They can see their own "achievements" as soon as they enter the building, allowing teachers and students to fully understand the development of MICE, research on MICE, and the characteristic culture of MICE. The aim is to educate students to enhance their professional confidence, strengthen their awareness of applying what they have learned, learn in practice, and use the learning environment to form industry practice insights.

Advocating green conservation, focusing on cultivating environmental awareness

In order to encourage teachers and students to develop green, energy-saving, conservation, and environmental protection low-carbon behavior habits, combined with the professional characteristics and research of low-carbon tourism and green consumption, a green and healthy college is created. The College has created a theme landscape of tourist destinations for the four staircases, guiding teachers and students to climb the stairs for physical exercise, understanding academic knowledge, and promoting energy conservation for elevators. The College has also conducted green energy conservation guidance for building signs and signs, encouraging everyone to practice the concept of cultural tourism ecology, green, and environmental protection.



Advocating a beautiful environment, focusing on cultivating a sense of cooperation

The College has been committed to creating a good environment for teacher-student communication and has built various forms of shared spaces, communication spaces, and collaboration spaces within the College to create a positive and uplifting communication atmosphere. The utilization rate of public spaces is very high. In addition to using conventional spaces such as classrooms, teachers and students prefer to conduct academic discussions, learning exchanges, and life discussions in the corridors. The future world needs innovators, collaborators, and lifelong learners. Communication is the premise of cooperation, and actively creating communication spaces for students is also an important measure to cultivate teachers and students to be good at cooperation and communication in the future. Besides, the bookcases that can be seen everywhere in the public space of the College are filled with books, aiming to create an environment where learning can be done everywhere and at any time, and advocate teachers and students to develop the habit of conscious learning and lifelong learning.

The college environment emphasizes the guiding role of role models in educating students, and there is a wall of outstanding student deeds posted in the college hall space, encouraging students to learn from the advanced deeds, spiritual qualities, and learning achievements of outstanding students. The College also exhibits teachers' academic articles and works in the corridor space, forming a good academic exchange environment between teachers and teachers, teachers and students, playing an environmental education role of mutual reference, mutual cooperation and exchange, and mutual encouragement and progress.



Advocating compliance with norms, focusing on the awareness of educational rules

While providing a good environment, the College has been strengthening standardized environmental management, guiding students to abide by rules, cherish the environment, and love the college. For public spaces, individuals are not allowed to occupy them for a long time without permission. Regular cleaning is necessary to ensure efficient sharing and use. In this process, the College aims to cultivate students' awareness of rules and become diligent, pragmatic, and constantly enterprising young people.

When talking about the college environment, ZI Hongmei, a second-year master's student in tourism management, said that the College provides us with a good environment, and the environmental protection signs set up in the college allow us to gradually develop good habits of conservation. The shared communication space in the college also provides us with a space for mutual communication and learning. I am very happy to study and grow in such a college environment.

Associate Professor ZHOU Jie, the head of the Department of MICE Economy and Management, spoke with deep feelings about environmental education. He said, "I think the college is very unique in environmental education, especially in combining the professional characteristics of students majoring in MICE Economy and Management, which gives students a lot of space for display and forms an immersive learning environment. In addition, the design of the environment has an important guiding effect on human behavior. I believe that the shared, positive, green, and other environmental design concepts created by the college administration will have a positive impact on students' behavior and cognition."

Vice Dean Yang Dejin said when talking about environmental education, "President Xi Jinping has repeatedly discussed the requirements for all-round education for all staff,the school and college leaders also demand to play an important role in the education of students in the space of the college buildings. In the theme education, we have also formed a research topic on ‘Investigation and Strategy Research on the Needs for the Educational Value of Building’. In the future, we will further do a good job in environmental education, use more thoughts and do more things, fully leverage the function of campus environment to inspire wisdom and cultivate sentiment, and empower students to grow."
