Recently, the Stanford University team and Elsevier Data Repository in the United States released the World's Top 2% Scientists 2023 list. Professor Li Hui from our college was selected for this list, and a total of 159 people from Nankai University were selected this year. This list provides a measure of the sustained performance and influence of scientists engaged in scientific research, which can more objectively and truthfully reflect their long-term academic influence. This ranking is generated based on a comprehensive analysis of citation data from the Scopus database while examining the quality and quantity of research paper achievements. It mainly calculates six citation indicators, including the cited index, H-index, and HM factor. Selecting the top 2% of scientists from nearly 7 million worldwide, divided into 22 fields and 176 sub-fields. Professor Li Hui's research areas include leisure and tourism, artificial intelligence and image processing, and economics and business.
