(Reported by Liu Haowen and Peng Keru). The Postgraduate entrance examination (PGE) has become a popular option for many undergraduates to pursue their future education in the face of increasing employment pressure. The College held a meaningful PGE experience-sharing meeting to help PGE candidates fully understand information, plan their schedule reasonably, and effectively master the methods of preparation, and support candidates in overcoming challenges and difficulties on the road to success, Outstanding senior students who have successfully passed the PGE, including Han Ziyi, Zhang Xinyu, Wei Zihan, and Li Qianying, shared their experience and insights, providing valuable PGE guidance for students who are preparing for the exam.
The meeting revolves around the experiences in the cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance examination and the management major postgraduate entrance examination. Han Ziyi and Zhang Xinyu shared their cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance examination experiences with their junior fellow students. The main topics included selecting a cross-disciplinary direction, acquiring cross-disciplinary information, coping with professional restrictions, and specific preparations for the entrance examination subjects. Afterward, Zi Han and Li Qianying shared their experiences in detail regarding common issues related to postgraduate entrance examinations in management-related fields. They explained the allocation of time for the entrance examination subjects, study methods, and the mindset needed for the entrance examination, while also sharing relevant materials.
The sharing of postgraduate entrance examination experiences by the four outstanding senior fellow students dispelled the haze surrounding their junior peers, providing them with a clear direction for moving forward.
The postgraduate entrance examination experience-sharing event came to a successful conclusion with active participation from the students. As one attending student put it, "I have thought about success, I have thought about failure, but I have never thought about giving up!" We hope that the students from the College of Tourism and Service Management who are preparing for the PEG will give it their all and strive to succeed.
