The mid-term teaching meeting for postgraduates of the College of Tourism and Service Management was held in conference Room 134 On Nov. 11th, 2022. Some teachers attended the meeting online through Tencent conference due to the epidemic. The meeting was attended by Dean Xu Hong, Vice Dean Yao Yanbo, Vice Dean Li Hui, Director of Graduate Education Program Li Chunxiao, Director of Tourism Department Huang Jing, Director of Exhibition and Economic Management Department Zhou Jie, Deputy Director of Laboratory Li Xiaoyi, Director of Graduate Office Liu Xinyu and Xia Chen, some representatives of doctoral students of the class of 2022, and academic masters students of the class of 2022 and 2021.
The meeting was presided over by Associate Professor Li Chunxiao. Xia Chen from the Graduate Teaching Office reported on the opening of graduate courses and the actual completion of courses in the first semester of the 2022-2023 session. Representatives of students from each grade put forward opinions and suggestions on the curriculum and content, coursework, scientific research lectures, study-abroad programs, and daily life. The college leaders and teachers gave detailed answers to the puzzles and questions raised by the students, encouraging the students to challenge themselves, persist in learning knowledge from practice, and feed knowledge into practice, to expand their academic horizons.
The College of Tourism and Service Management has always attached great importance to the quality monitoring of postgraduate teaching. This meeting has strengthened the communication between the college leaders, teachers, and postgraduates, which can timely discover and solve problems. This will play a crucial role in promoting the academic atmosphere construction, strengthening discipline, improving the teaching and training quality of postgraduates, continuously optimizing training programs, and improving the curriculum system and curriculum setting during the epidemic.
