As the first author, doctoral student Li Huahua and her collaborators have jointly completed the research titled "Urban sensory map: How do tourists "sense" a destination spatially?", which has been published in one of the top three international journals in tourism, Tourism Management. This paper is one of the series of achievements in the field of tourist sensory experiences by Li Huahua. The study used Weibo content as the data source and explored the aggregation and distribution rules of tourist sensory experiences in global and local spatial ranges through the construction of a macro-meso-micro spatial analysis framework. It revealed the connection between different types of tourist attractions and sensory experiences in different spaces and summarized a framework of the interaction between specific spatial environmental elements and sensory experiences.
Tourism Management is one of the top journals that has great influence in the field of tourism and is classified as an ABS 4 and FMS A-level journal.
