On November 16, 2022, Sun Guowei, the alumnus from our college in year of 1984 and president of the Tourism’s Alumni Association, donated another 100,000 RMB to the Tourism Development Fund of Nankai University. Sun Guowei has always been concerned about the college building. Since 2019, he has donated a total of 400,000 RMB to the college for four consecutive years. In terms of alumni association work, he has always been committed to serving the alumni and feeding Alma mater, building a bridge of communication and cooperation between the alumni and the college, connecting the resources of the university and enterprises, promoting the combination of tourism professional knowledge education, talent training and industry practice, and constantly providing advice and financial support for the development of the college. The endowment fund will be used for the construction of the college, student activities, improving teaching and research conditions, caring for retired employees, alumni related work and other projects according to the will of the donors.

The College is grateful to alumni for their continued support and assistance in student development, discipline development and the College’s work. In the future, the College will continue to work with alumni to integrate university-enterprise resources, promote the deep integration of industry, university and research, live up to the ardent expectations of alumni and public welfare personnel for the development of the college’s tourism and exhibition education, cultivate more composite tourism and exhibition talents with both academic theoretical learning ability and social practice ability, and make greater contributions to social development.
