On February 25th, the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with the College of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University and well-known domestic tourism enterprises and media, had an in-depth discussion and exchange with the Seven Star Bay Urban Development Group at their Tianjin headquarters, achieving complete success.

Chen Bing, the Vice Director of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism; Wang Wei, the Secretary of the Party Committee; and Yang Dejin, the Deputy Dean of the College of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University, Li Man, the General Manager of China Travel International Travel Service (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Li Mengchen, the Chairman of the Seven Star Sea City Development Group, representatives from international travel agencies, three tourism platform companies (Ctrip Travel, Qyer Group, and Douyin Platform), and five media representatives attended the meeting. The launch of this series of collaborations has positive implications for promoting the recovery of the marine tourism industry and economy in the post-pandemic era and for creating a comprehensive "government-industry-academia-research" cooperation model.
Chen Bing, the Vice Director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, stated that the Municipal Party Committee and Government have set high standards for cultural and tourism work in the post-pandemic new phase, requiring the creation of various resources to accelerate the pace of tourism market "going out and coming in." As the paired enterprise of the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Seven Star Sea City Development Group will assist in accurately recommending and connecting various industrial resources in fields such as tourism, healthcare, exhibitions, education, and modern services. The Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism will leverage its government platform advantages and use various channels and methods, including exhibitions and events such as the China International Tourism Expo, to promote and publicize the Seven Star Sea City Development Group.

According to Wang Wei, our college's Secretary of the Party Committee, the cooperation with the Seven Star Sea City Development Group was established in March 2021 and covered five major directions. During the epidemic, the Seven Star Sea City Group also carried out friendly interaction activities for our students who stayed on campus, reflecting the cooperation temperature. He proposed to use the promotion of tourism service talent education and the construction of practical employment bases as an entry point and continue to carry out in-depth cooperation in the top-level design of coastal tourism, research and development of tourism product format and standards, big data mining, and marine health development. Subsequently, Secretary Wang Wei awarded the certificate of teaching practice and employment base to the Seven Star Sea City Development Group.
At last, all participants discussed the cooperation in the cultural and tourism industry in the new era of comprehensive openness and recovery. Following the principles of "local mutual assistance, complementary advantages, pragmatic cooperation, and common development", all parties explored multi-dimensional, multi-faceted, and multi-level cooperation, aiming to facilitate the two-way exchange of cultural and tourism between China and Cambodia and the sustainable development and brand promotion of tourist destinations.
