On August 25th, 2022, our young teachers Bi Jianwu and Chen Yujia were awarded the Outstanding Postdoctoral Achievement Award at the "Fifth National Tourism Management Postdoctoral Academic Forum". Bi Jianwu's winning paper was titled "Exploring asymmetric effects of attribute performance on customer satisfaction in the hotel industry," which was published in Volume 77 of "Tourism Management" in 2020. Based on 1.5 million tourist reviews, the paper systematically studied the asymmetric impact of hotel attribute performance on customer satisfaction in different segmented markets using penalty-reward contrast analysis and asymmetric impact-performance analysis. Chen Yujia's winning paper was titled "Service failure in peer-to-peer accommodation," which was published in Volume 88 of "Annals of Tourism Research" in 2021. Based on online review data and interview data, the paper systematically explored the types of service failures and remedies in peer-to-peer accommodation.
