On August 2nd, the inaugural meeting of the Hebei Provincial Culture and Tourism Think Tank was held in Chongli. Professor Shi Peihua, director of the Provincial and Ministerial Collaborative Innovation Center for Modern Tourism Development of Nankai University, was appointed as deputy director of the Marketing and Promotion Committee of the Hebei Provincial Culture and Tourism Think Tank Committee. Bian Fa Ji, Vice Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, issued the appointment letter for the first batch of think tank experts. The main person in charge of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism attended the meeting.

At the inaugural meeting, Professor Shi Peihua gave a keynote report entitled "Chongli as a world-class brand and a leading breakthrough in Hebei tourism" and made three recommendations: First, it is recommended that Chongli take advantage of the influence of the Winter Olympics, grasp the current eager demand for ice and snow tourism, camping and outdoor sports, and build a world-renowned ski tourism, leisure tourism and summer resort, and continue to highlight the value of health tourism; second, cultivate the development of the "cool economy" innovation platform, planning to hold ice and snow sports equipment industry, camping and outdoor sports industry expo, to create high-end products and services display and trade, personnel training exchange platform, the establishment of innovation and entrepreneurship base, the implementation of the creator program; the third is to actively explore new ways of characteristics, and jointly held the first World Meteorological Tourism Development Conference with the China Meteorological Administration, and the World Meteorological Organization, to examine the construction of "tourism + meteorology" integrated development demonstration area and four seasons tourism destination.

Hebei Provincial Culture and Tourism Think Tank Committee are composed of the heads of enterprises and institutions in the tourism industry, such as China Tourism News, Everbright Group, China Youth Travel Group, Overseas Chinese Town Group, Hebei Provincial Government Counsellor's Office and other famous cultural and tourism experts from tourism colleges and universities. Professor Shi Peihua is a member of the 14th Five-Year Plan Expert Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Secretary General of China Tourism Think Tank, and a member of the National Culture and Tourism Public Service Expert Committee, and has presided over the completion of the strategic planning research on tourism development in Xiongan New Area, which won the second prize of excellent decision-making and consulting research results in Tianjin and the outstanding research results award of Nankai University. He was the first to propose the "Territorial Tourism Calendar" in Hebei Province, which has been adopted and promoted continuously, generating good economic benefits.
