On June 3rd, "Nankai Development with Me, New Chapter of Tourism Discipline" was held in Conference Room 134 of the College of Tourism and Service Management for the 2022 graduates. Dean Xu Hong, Vice Deans Yao Yanbo, Yang Dejin and Li Hui, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and Vice Dean Yang Xiaojing, teacher representatives Li Chunxiao and Liang Sai, and 11 representatives of the graduates attended the symposium, and Li Yiqing, the graduate counsellor, presided over it.
During the symposium, the graduate representatives expressed their appreciation for the cultivation of the college and spoke enthusiastically about their study, research and life experiences during their school years, and actively offered their suggestions for the development of the college. The graduates put forward many opinions and recommendations on curriculum, international exchange, internship practice, career planning, peer guidance, study room management, etc.
The leaders at the meeting listened carefully to the speeches of the graduate representatives and responded to the relevant issues in detail. Finally, Dean Xu Hong expressed her gratitude to the graduate representatives for their concern for the development and discipline construction of the college and their support for the work of the college. She said the college would seriously analyze the opinions and suggestions of graduates, promote the reform of the undergraduate teaching system, optimize the curriculum structure, comprehensively improve the level of teaching and management, and strive to make more significant contributions to the cultivation of high-quality tourism talents.
