Hosted by the College of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University, ENTER2022 International Conference was officially held online on January 11-14, 2022, with a focus of the development of new technology and emerging information and communication technology (ICT) in the tourism industry, and built a high-quality international exchange platform for experts, scholars, enterprises, regulators, and affiliated organizations in the field.
The conference received submissions from tourism scholars all over the world. Among them, papers from the college of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University were presented at the conference and won a number of international awards, highlighting the high-speed development of the tourism management discipline and scientific research level of the college and increasing international impactof the tourism management discipline of the college.
Paper "Investigation into the impact of anthropomorphism of tourism service robots and brand personality on customers' intention of value co-creation" presented by Du Yingying, the Ph.D. researcher from our college won the second place in the PhD Proposal Award.
The paper "Individual hosts V.s. house agency: Influence of multi-listing hosts on sharing accommodation survival" presented by Gao Lanfei, the first year Ph.D. student from our college, won the third place in the Ph.D. Proposal Award.
The thesis "Study on the impact of gamification on tourist's satisfaction based on virtual reality tourism experiment: The mediating role of tourism fatigue" submitted by Wei Zhenda, the first year Ph.D. student from our school, was awarded with IFITT Master's Thesis Excellence Award.
