On April 26, 2022, the Mid-Term Teaching Symposium for Graduate Students of the College of Tourism and Service was held online. Dean Hong Xu, Associate Dean Yanbo Yao, Director Chunxiao Li , Director Jing Huang , Director Jie Zhou, Ms. Xinyu Liu and Ms. Chen Xia, the staffs of Graduate Student Office, as well as representatives of 2021 doctoral and 2021 master students attended the symposium.

The symposium was presided over by Dr. Chunxiao Li, and first of all, Ms. Chen Xia reported the opening situation of graduate courses in the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year and the actual completion of courses. After that, the representatives of students of all grades actively spoke and put forward opinions and suggestions on the curriculum, course content, and coursework. The participating teachers gave meticulous answers to the confusion and questions raised by the students, and gave corresponding suggestions for the students' learning and scientific research, encouraging the students to select courses reasonably, actively participate in the academic circles inside and outside the college, and the industry lecture, and effectively combine the curriculum, scientific research, and practice.

The convening of the mid-term teaching symposium for graduate students has strengthened the communication and understanding between leaders, teachers, and graduate students of the college. It can also timely discover the problems encountered in the teaching operation and management services, can lay the foundation for subsequent problem solving, can further improve the quality of teaching guarantees, and can effectively promote the improvement and development of the graduate work of the college.
