Recently, at the invitation of Professor Cathy Hsu, Editor-in-Chief of Tourism Management, and Elsevier Publishing House, Professor Hui Li was invited to be served as a new editorial board member of Tourism Management. The journal is one of the Top-3 international academic journals in tourism management, which is also an ABS Level-4 journal, and an international Class-A high-level journal recognized by FMS. This journal is extremely influential in the discipline of tourism management, with an impact factor of 10.967. It is also the top journal of the first-level discipline of tourism management in our institute, mainly publishing high-level research results, latest progress discussions, case studies, and book reviews on frontier issues in tourism management. It published papers which have both theoretical and practical value.
Under the background of the construction of new liberal arts in tourism management, Professor Hui Li has been committed to the research on intelligent tourism management in the context of digital economy, and has successively published more than 10 high-level papers in the three top international journals of ABS level-4 tourism management, such as Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, and Journal of Travel Research. His research achievements in the intelligent management of tourism enterprises have been selected as the Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences) of Colleges and Universities, the Tianjin Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, the Zhejiang Philosophy, and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, and the National Tourism Administration Excellent Research Achievement Award.
In recent years, our institute is committed to promoting the construction of a world-class discipline of tourism management under the background of "double first-class", continuously promoting cross-organizational and interdisciplinary scientific research cooperation, online and offline multi-level academic exchanges, and participating various domestic and international academic organizations, which has enhanced the international academic influence of the college and disciplines and achieved excellent results. The participation of the editorial board of an internationally renowned academic journal in the discipline of tourism management reflects recognition by peers in international tourism academia for the academic contribution and high status of our institute's tourism management related research in recent years.
