Professor Shi Peihua, director of the Provincial and Ministerial Co-construction Coordination Center for Modern Tourism Development of our university, presided over the " Research Series on China's Tourism Development Model " research. It is a national publishing fund project and a national critical publishing planning project for the "13th Five-Year Plan" published by China Tourism Publishing House.

The series of books was prefaced by Professor Gong Ke, former president of Nankai University, chairman of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, and chairman of the Collaborative Innovation Center for The Joint Construction of Modern Tourism Development; and Professor Zheng Xinli, former deputy director of the Central Policy Research Office, vice chairman of the China Center for International Economic Cooperation and Exchanges, and director of the Academic Committee of the Collaborative Innovation Center for The Development of Modern Tourism.

The series includes 8 books: "Chinese Mode for Rural Tourism Development", "Chinese Mode for Tourism Poverty Alleviation", "Chinese Mode for Industrial Tourism Development", "Chinese Mode for Marine Tourism Development", "Chinese Mode for Eco-tourism Development", "Chinese Mode for Scenic Area Development", "Chinese Mode for Global Tourism Development", and "Chinese Mode for National Tourism and Leisure". China's tourism development has made remarkable achievements over the past 40 years of reform and opening up. The series of books systematically studied China's tourism development mode, summarized the successful logic, and characteristics of China's tourism development and experienced enlightenment.
