Recently, five retired teachers from Nankai University responded positively to the Ministry of Education's "Silver Age Teacher Support Program for Universities in the West" and will be the first group members of Nankai University to go to Kashgar University for teaching.

They are from College of Chemistry, College of Tourism and Service Management, School of Marxism and School of Literature, all with associate senior titles and rich experience in front-line teaching and research.

It is reported that the first group members will carry out teaching work in Kashgar University for a period of one year, and will adopt the way of passing on, helping and leading to guide the young teachers of Kashgar University to do a good job in teaching and scientific research, and pass on the advanced teaching methods and scientific research concepts to them through academic lectures, teaching and scientific research activities.
