On July 19, the closing ceremony of the Study and Exchange Program of the 2021 Macao students in Tianjin was held at the Bailitai Campus of Nankai University. Deng Xiaoqing, Deputy Director of the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Li Shaohong, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC of Tianjin, Yang Shuyuan, Director of the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs of the CPPCC of Tianjin, and Yang Kexin, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nankai University attended the closing ceremony. The leaders and guests presented certificates of completion to the 29 Macao students of this program.

The Study and Exchange Program of Macao students in Tianjin were initiated and promoted by Mr. He Houhua, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC, sponsored by the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese of the CPPCC, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and the Macao Foundation, and organized by the College of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University and the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies. In this year, a total of 29 students from the University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, Macau Polytechnic Institute and Macao Institute for Tourism Studies came to Tianjin to carry out a 15-day study and exchange program.

At the ceremony, three representatives of Macau university students shared what they had thought and learned in Tianjin and Nankai University. They said that during the study and exchange period, they deeply felt the profound cultural heritage and patriotic sentiment of Nankai University, the modern city of Tianjin, where East meets West, ancient meets modern, open and tolerant, and the great path, great cause and great achievements of the Chinese people unitedly led by the Communist Party of China in the past 100 years. As a new generation of young people in Macau, they will further build a good bridge of friendship between Macau and Tianjin, and do their best to strengthen exchanges between Macau and the Mainland, enhance the feelings of compatriots, strengthen cultural confidence and build a strong socialist modernization country.
