On July 10, 2021, our teacher Dr. Zhang Bele attended the "2021 Guangdong Tourism Management Teaching Reform and Teaching Methodology Conference" on behalf of the undergraduate course group of Tourism Industry Economics, and the paper "Effective Teaching Exploration of O-AMAS in Tourism Higher Education - Taking Tourism Industry Economics as an Example", which was jointly completed by course group members Prof. Yao Yanbo, Dr. Zhang Bele, Dr. Chen Yujia and Liu Xiaodi (teaching assistant of this course), won the Outstanding Paper Award.

The conference was organized around five themes, including 'double first-class' professional construction of tourism management, tourism cooperation in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, online education of tourism management, new liberal arts and tourism management education and tourism management teaching methods, etc. The conference consisted of three parts: keynote speech, paper presentation and seminar. Our teacher Dr. Zhang Bele attended the conference on behalf of the undergraduate course group of Tourism Industry Economics and presented the paper "Exploring the effective teaching of O-AMAS in tourism higher education - taking Tourism Industry Economics as an example". The paper introduced how the course team applied the O-AMAS effective teaching model developed by Nankai University to the teaching of core tourism management courses, and analyzed in depth the application and practice of the O-AMAS effective teaching model in tourism professional education and the high-quality teaching effect by taking the course design of Tourism Industry Economics as a case study. The paper won the Outstanding Paper Award of the conference.
