The 2021 China Tourism Science Annual Conference was held in Beijing on April 24.At the meeting, Xiao Hong, deputy general manager of China academic journal electronic magazine co., LTD., on behalf of the joint research group of China tourism academy, issued the "Top100 academic influence of tourism papers" and "Top100 academic influence of tourism paper authors". Professor Xu Hong of the College was included in the list.
This report, through a combination of quantitative and qualitative selection methods, scientifically and objectively selects influential authors within a certain time range, encourages the creation of excellent academic achievements in tourism and the development of scholars who have made important contributions to tourism research, and promotes the dissemination of tourism research achievements and the prosperity and development of the discipline in China.
Professor Xu Hong's research interests include tourism industry ecology research, tourism destination competitiveness and supply chain management, tourism service innovation and strategic management, leisure agriculture and rural tourism, and tourism financial management. Up to now, Professor Xu Hong has presided over more than 50 projects, such as national Natural Science Foundation of China, Sub-projects of National Key Social Science Projects, Humanities and Social Science Research Fund of The Ministry of Education, and National Tourism Administration projects. She has published more than 100 papers and more than 30 academic conference papers on top journals at home and abroad, including Nankai Management Review, Tourism Journal, Tourism Science, Annals of Tourism Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and so on. In addition, Professor Xu Hong has also written and translated 30 books, such as Financial Management of Tourist Hotels, Quality Management of Hotel Industry, Tourism Economics, Leisure and Tourism Supply: Policy and Planning, etc. She has been invited to give keynote speeches at academic conferences for more than 20 times, wrote 20 research reports and proposals.
