Recently, the 2020 Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence unveiled the winners. In 2019, Dr. Liang Sai published the article How to improve the state of the hospitality of the hotel review? A Multilevel Approach, which was honored with the Highly Commended Papers Award, on International Journal of the Hospitality Management, a top-class journal in hotel management, with him being the first author, and Nankai University as the first unit. It is the first time that a teacher of our College has received such an award.

Emerald Literati Awards, which has been around for more than 20 years, has a set of evaluation criteria, such as new breakthroughs in knowledge systems or thematic methodology, excellent framework and structure as well as writing skills, robust analysis, and close relationships to practice and future research. The awards aim to commend and reward authors and reviewers who have made outstanding contributions to academic research.
