(Correspondent: Shi Jingbo) During December 3 - 5, Professors Li Tianyuan and Chen Ye, Research Assistant Shi Jingbo were invited to attend the Annual Conference of China Tourism Academy for 2021. The annual conference was held in Henan University with “Industrial Practice and Theoretical Construction Regarding the High-quality Development of the Tourism Industry” as the theme. More than 80 people attended the conference, including the persons in charge and chief experts of 21 branches and research bases of China Tourism Academy, representatives of observers and the culture & tourism industries in Henan Province.

On December 4, the Work Symposium of China Tourism Academy was held, during which Professors Li Tianyuan and Chen Ye reported details about the project approval, paper publication and important scientific research activities of the tourism market and destination marketing research base in the past year, and introduced the work plan for 2021 of the research base.

With “Industrial Practice and Theoretical Construction Regarding the High-quality Development of the Tourism Industry” as the theme, this annual conference discussed such issues as the industrial path, practical results, talent cultivation, theoretical construction, theoretical innovation and development, culture & tourism integration and innovation regarding the high-quality development of the tourism industry in China, providing important ideas for tourism theory construction, academic research and talent cultivation.
