Recently, from the official website of China Scholarship Council, it was learned that the International Exchange Program between the College of Tourism and Service Management and the University of Surrey, UK was approved by China Scholarship Council as a 2019 Outstanding Undergraduate International Exchange Program, and has received the funding for the second consecutive year.
In 2019, China Scholarship Council will fund two outstanding undergraduates from the College of Tourism and Service Management with an average score of 85 or more to participate in the international exchange program at the University of Surrey, covering round-trip international traveling expenses and a monthly subsistence allowance of £ 850-950.
In December 2015, the College and the University of Surrey, UK signed a 3 +1 and 4 +1 joint cultivation agreement with undergraduate an graduate degrees. The Tourism and Hotel Management Discipline of the University of Surrey ranks first class in the world with strong capability. As of November 2018, a total of 10 undergraduates have participated in the cooperation program, of which 7 had successfully completed their studies and obtained bachelor's and master's degrees from both Nankai University and Surrey University. These graduates are working for tourism and relevant companies and international organizations such as the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Marriott Group, Northern Shaanxi Investment Group, Home Credit Group, and Suning Group.
