From January 26 to 31, 2019, accompanied by Liang Shuling from Office for International Affairs and Industry Cooperation, Professor Xu Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, visited alumni in Fujian and Beijing and some enterprises established by alumni, according to the General Plan for Visiting Alumni 2019 of the College. Then, they listened to the advice and suggestions of alumni to the Centennial Anniversary, and then communicated with alumni in terms of university-enterprise cooperation.
From January 26 to 28, Professor Xu Hong had an informal discussion with the alumni when she was in Fuzhou and Xiamen, Fujian, and presented the development of the College and observed the opening of Xiamen Association of Nankai’s CTSM Alumni Association. Besides, they visited and surveyed Fuzhou Overseas Tourism Industry Co., Ltd. and Fujian Henghongda Technology Co., Ltd., both of which were founded by the alumni. Then, the alumni introduced current situation and development goals of their enterprises. They even negotiated the university-industry cooperation.
On January 31, Professor Xu Hong participated in “Beijing Association of Nankai’s CTSM Alumni Association and Nankai Alumni Exchange Meeting” in Beijing and visited alumni. At the meeting, Professor Xu Hong reported the situation and recent development of the College and felicitated the establishment of Beijing Association of Nankai’s CTSM Alumni Association. She hoped that Beijing Association would make contribution to the development of the College of Tourism and Service Management together with other associations.
Alumni were completely moved by the visit. Once again, meeting with their teachers of alma mater made them feel the strong and affectionate love of Nankai after many years of graduation. They said that they would never forget the cultivation of the alma mater and make more achievements in their position. Also, they would remember the school motto of Nankai and mobilize and encourage alumni to make contribution to the Centennial Anniversary.
