On the afternoon of January 22, Shenzhen Association of Nankai’s CTSM Alumni Association was established. At the opening ceremony, alumni representatives elected Mr. Su Hongyu to be the first president of Shenzhen Association of Nankai’s CTSM Alumni Association and Ms. Zou Peifang was selected as secretary general.

At the symposium thereafter, Wang Shan, director of Exchange and Cooperation Office of the College, reported the situation of the College and NKU, recent development, discipline construction and preparation for the Centennial Anniversary to Shenzhen’s alumni. On the one hand, the superintendent of NKU appreciated Shenzhen’s alumni for their long-term concern and support for the development of the College. On the other hand, the superintendent also welcomed the alumni to contribute to the world-class tourism discipline construction, talent training, academic research and series activities of the Centennial Anniversary. For this purpose, alumni discussed the topics above.

Prof. Yao Yanbo, vice-president of the College, associate professor Li Xiaoyi, deputy director of Tourism Market Experiment Center, and Wang Shan, director of Exchange and Cooperation Office of the College, investigated and surveyed Shenzhen Model Tourism Project Design Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Holding Company, both of which were created by Shenzhen alumni, and then communicated with alumni and responsible persons.
