The textbook Exhibition Marketing jointly prepared by Zhou Jie, Wang Jingna and Cheng Hongbo from the Department of Exhibition Management of our college was officially published in Chongqing University Press in August 2018. Exhibition Marketing is one of the Planning Textbook for Teaching Steering Committee of Tourism Management Specialty of Higher Institutions of the Ministry of Education, which corresponds to one of the three core courses of National Standards for Undergraduate Professional Teaching Quality in Common Colleges and Universities newly released for “Major of Exhibition Economy and Administration”.
The content of Exhibition Marketing is divided into 4 parts, i.e., exhibition marketing overview, exhibition marketing environment and consumers, development of exhibition marketing strategy and design of marketing mix strategy, as well as exhibition marketing management and expansion. Based on the classic marketing theory, the textbook, not only highlights the effective combination of theoretical foundation and application methods, but also emphasizes the current advanced concepts and future development trends of exhibition marketing.
The textbook Exhibition Marketing is not only jointly completed by some teachers with similar research directions in the department of exhibition management, but also some students in exhibition economy and management major, who are involved in data collection and organization. Therefore, the completion of the textbook not only reflects the achievements of building the teacher team in the exhibition management department of our college, but also the training results of our students.
