On March 16th, 2018, the Award Ceremony of the BES Scholarship and the Nankai Tourism Lecture were held at the Exhibition Lab of the College of Tourism and Service Management of Jinnan Campus. Huang Xiaohui, deputy general manager of BES Cultural Tourism Group, presented certificates to the students who received the scholarship and gave a keynote speech titled “Vast Countryside, Brilliant Future – Thinking and Practice of Revitalizing the Countryside by Cultural Tourism”. Prof. Xu Hong, Party Secretary of the College of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University, Wang Shan, Director of the Exchange and Cooperation Office, and representatives of teachers and students attended the ceremony.

On behalf of all the teachers and students of the college, Xu Hong congratulated the three students for their “BES” scholarship honor. She introduced the contribution of BES Cultural Tourism Group to the industry and the society. Meanwhile, she placed high hopes on the three students who won the scholarship and encouraged them to link learning and research with the development of tourism in China and the world. Additionally she hoped everyone can look at the stars with their feet on the ground in which way can they create a different scenery.
