During the period, from November 30 to December 1, the Annual Meeting of Tourism Education Branch of China Tourism Association & International Tourism Education Seminar sponsored by the Tourism Education Branch of China Tourism Association and undertaken by the School of Tourism of Zhongshan University was successfully held in Guangzhou Zhongshan University. There were totally 615 experts and participants in the field of tourism education from 18 countries and regions and 292 schools and institutions registered to attend this large-scale International Tourism Education Seminar. This is a grand gathering that collected much global elites in the field of tourism education, discussed the new situation of international tourist education and research in depth and large scale, based around the theme “global tourism education: culture, challenge and prospect”, after the 19th CPC National Congress.

In the afternoon of December 1, the sub-forums of International Tourism Education Seminar was successfully convened in the southern campus of Zhongshan University. The five sub-forums were implemented simultaneously, totally 52 tourism discipline leaders and elites from various countries have delivered wonderful speeches, and Dean Bai Changhong has also delivered speech in the first sub-forum themed by Practical Orientation and Theoretical Innovation.
