A message from China Xiaokang Network (November 12) Reported by Journalist Yu Jingyuan in Hangzhou On November 12, 2017, China (international) Leisure Development Forum themed by “all-for-one tourism, garden city and leisure development” was grandly opened in Hangzhou.
During the forum, such awards as "Top ten Qualified Leisure Cities in China 2017", "Top Ten Qualified Leisure Counties and Cities in China 2017", "Top Ten Qualified Leisure Bases in China 2017", "Top 20 Outstanding Figures in the Field of Leisure in China 2017", "Leisure Demonstration Enterprises in China 2017", "Classic Leisure Models in China 2017", "Award for all-for-one Tourism Innovation in China 2017" and "Award for Countryside Tourism Demonstration in China 2017" were selected to commend cities and counties, villages and towns as well as enterprises and individuals that have made outstanding contributions throughout the year 2017.
Of all the above-mentioned awards, "Top 20 Outstanding Figures in the Field of Leisure in China 2017" was an especially high-profile one, and according to the evaluation result, Professor Bai Changhong (dean of the School of Tourism and Service Management f Nankai University) successfully won the award.
It was reported that the forum was cosponsored by Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government and Xiaokang Magazine, especially supported by China Society for the Promotion of Cultural and Art Development and China Society for the Promotion of Sporting Culture, undertaken by Hangzhou West Lake Exposition Organization Committee Office and Leisure Magazine, co-organized by Leisure Management Research Institute of the School of Management of Zhejiang University and Hangzhou Society for the Promotion of Leisure Development, and executed by Hangzhou Leisure Culture Media Co., Ltd.
