On September 21, 2017, Shanxi Tourism Development Conference 2017 was solemnly convened under the direction of Zhang Fuming (vice-governor of Shanxi Province). Lou Yangsheng (governor of Shanxi Province) and Wang Xiaofeng (deputy director of National Tourism Administration) were present at the conference and respectively delivered speeches. Professor Shi Peihua of the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University delivered a keynote speech mainly expounding on the strategic significance, orientation target, realization route and main measures regarding the building of three major tourism sectors (namely Yellow River, Taihang Mountain and the Great Wall) by Shanxi Province. During the conference, Shanxi Provincial Government convened the plenary session of Shanxi Tourism Development Expert Advisory Committee, in which Wei Xiaoan was employed as director, and Shi Peihua, Wu Bihu and Bai Changhonog deputy directors of Shanxi Tourism Development Expert Advisory Committee. Professor Shi Peihua took the lead in delivering speech on behalf of experts; besides, Professor Shi Peihua also received the interview of such media as Phoenix Satellite TV, Travel Satellite TV, Shanxi TV, Shanxi Daily, China Tourism News, Phoenix Network and Shanxi Evening News in terms of the development of tourism in Shanxi province and the building of three major tourism sectors of Shanxi Province.
