On September 6, 2017, Tianjin Municipal Commission of Education published the list of experimental teaching demonstration centers of general institutions of higher education in Tianjin City in the year 2017, the tourist experimental teaching demonstration center of our School was approved to be incorporated into the list.

According to the requirements of the Notice of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Education on Acceptance of Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Construction Units of Regular Institutions of Higher Learning in Tianjin City in the year 2017, totally 105 qualified municipal-level experimental teaching demonstration center construction units from 20 institutions of higher learning across Tianjin City applied for acceptance, of which 66 centers were finally approved as “experimental teaching demonstration centers of regular institutions of higher learning in Tianjin City” by Tianjin Municipal Commission of Education after such procedures as application, inspection by Municipal Commission of Education, network and conference review by expert group and undisputed online publication. In Nankai University, there were totally 6 experimental teaching administration centers successfully listed, including the “municipal-level tourist experimental teaching administration center” of our School.  

The School of Tourism and Service Management will practically implement and fulfill the development concept of being innovative, coordinated, environment-friendly, open and shared then, strengthening the laboratory safety management, fulfill subject responsibilities, deepen education reform on innovation and entrepreneurship, share high-quality experimental teaching resources, improve the laboratory construction level of institutions of higher learning in Tianjin City and comprehensively improve talent cultivation quality.
