In the evening of August 31 (Correspondent Wang Bin), the award ceremony for 2017 “Red Coral” Award of Asia Tourism cosponsored by the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University and 21st Century Business Herald was held in Shanghai.
Professor Bai Changhong (dean of the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University and chairman of judging panel for “Red Coral” Award of Asia Tourism) delivered a speech on the award ceremony. In his speech, Professor BAI pointed out that red coral is a millennial treasure among jewels and an auspicious gem in deep ocean. The Red Coral Award of Asia Tourism is dedicated to creating the most professional and symbolic award in the field of Asian tourism industry, and meanwhile, it is designed to listen to the most authentic voice of consumers and the industry, explore the truths behind big data and promote the sustainable development of Asian tourism industry.
It is reported that the evaluation and selection of “Red Coral” Award of Asia Tourism was set up and launch by 21st Century Business Herald (a financial and economic media) and the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University in 2016 with the purpose ofscientific and authoritative selection through such aspects as Asian tourist destinations, finance, real estates and figures relying on big data and opinions of expert authorities in the industry.
