On September 1, the all-for-one Tourism Seminar was held in Beijing. Directed by Du Jiang (deputy director of National Tourism Administration), the seminar had over 30 participants in total, including experts and scholars, specially invited industrial representatives and certain media representatives. Besides, Li Jinzao (director of National Tourism Administration) were presented, several comrades from the Department of Policies and Regulations and Department of Planning and Finance of National Tourism Administration together with the Professor Shi Peihua of the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University were also present at the seminar.
All-for-one tourism has been highly affirmed and supported by CPC Central Committee and the State Council, it was warmly responded from place to place. National Tourism Administration has successfully convened three all-for-one tourism advancement conferences, promulgated Guide Rules for the Creation of All-for-one Tourism Demonstration Areas and issued 2017 Report on the Development of All-for-one Tourism to give categorized guidance for the implementation of all-for-one tourism construction in different areas. Convened at the new development stage of all-for-one tourism, the seminar is designed to promote the healthy development of all-for-one tourism through implementing further brainstorming, building consensus and forming joint forces. During the seminar, expert representatives, based around all-for-one tourism, proposed suggestions and opinions respectively from the perspective of theoretical research and that of industrial practice; Li Jinzao (director of National Tourism Administration) pointed out in his summary speech that developing from single "spark" to "prairie fire", all-for-one tourism has burst out huge vigor and vitality. However, although all-for-one tourism practices are in full swing, corresponding theoretical researches have already fallen behind with many researches still limited at the literal interpretation of certain terms related to all-for-one tourism. Facing the new development pattern of all-for-one tourism, what we really need is not only policy-level interpretations by scholars, but also in-depth investigations on and summary of development laws of all-for-one tourism, only so can the development of all-for-one tourism be better guided. Director LI Jinzao hopes that the field of tourism research can go further into the front of practices focusing on crucial, difficult and hot issues existing in the development of all-for-one tourism, thus acquiring more excellent theoretical research achievements.
