On July 14, 2017, the first Tourism Research Scholar Forum under Nankai University “International Talent Forum” held by the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University came to an end. Starting from June 12, the 33-day forum included totally 9 academic lectures. Based around current hot topics concerned by the field of tourism, including such contents as tourism discipline construction, tourist experience, tourist perception value and tourist destination image, international young scholars from America, England, Macao and other countries and regions implemented theme sharing in succession. For the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University, all the members of its academic committee, its academic leaders, young teachers as well as doctoral and master students respectively attended various sub-forums and implemented in-depth exchanges with international scholars. The forum greatly enriched the contents of short-semester courses for master and doctoral students of our School and played an active promotion role in talent team construction and disciplinary development of our School.
