A message from Nankai news network (journalist  Hao Jingqiu): the journalist  recently got the news that Nankai University All-for-one Tourism Research Institute declared jointly by the School of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University and the Center of Collaborative Innovation for the Development of Modern Tourism has acquired the formal consent of National Tourism Administration on its establishment. As the first all-for-one tourism research institute in China, it will serve as the secretariat for all-for-one tourism expert committee.

As a national tourism development strategy, all-for-one tourism is highly valued by the Party and government at present. It was clearly proposed in 2017 Report on the Work of the Government that “we must improve tourist facilities and services and vigorously develop rural, recreational and all-for-one tourism”, which shows that  all-for-one tourism has already become a key point in the development of national tourism. Considering that there are now a series of major problems existing in the creation and development of national all-for-one tourism demonstration areas, we must strengthen corresponding researches urgently to provide necessary theoretical, intelligent and technical supports.        

Nankai University All-for-one Tourism Research Institute endeavors to develop into a theoretical innovation and think tank service center designed to promote the development of all-for-one tourism demonstration areas and an international platform for the exchanges of Chinese tourist intelligence and experience. It will, base on the current all-for-one tourism research platform of the Center of Collaborative Innovation for the Development of Modern Tourism, continuously bear the heavy task of implementing theoretical researches and making cutting-edge breakthroughs for national all-for-one tourism, serve all-for-one tourism practices, promote international exchanges and cooperation and carry such work as education and training.  

In the future, Nankai University All-for-one Tourism Research Institute will also undertake the function of secretariat for all-for-one tourism expert committee. Organized and controlled by National Tourism Administration, National All-for-one Tourism Expert Committee is designed to supply National Tourism Administration with counselling opinions on policies, standards, laws and regulations and important work related to all-for-one tourism and, under the entrustment of governments and tourism authorities at all levels, organize preliminary research as well as evaluation and demonstration for all-for-one tourism plan, organize and delegate experts to participate in professional and technical work involved in the creation, training and exchanges of all-for-one tourism demonstration and such work as research, observation, demonstration and investigation for all-for-one tourism.
