On July 6, Professor Shi Peihua attended the Focus Interview program of CCTV and delivered his comments on the ticket evasion behavior of tourists in scenic areas occurred for a period of time.  

For a period of time, the news on ticket evasion are frequently seen on media. Such ticket evasion behaviors involve a wide range of issues, such as travelling by high-speed train, bus or subway, or visiting scenic areas or parks. It seems that where there are ticket sales, there are people considering ticket evasion. More ridiculous, when opening searching webpages, you may even see many special strategies, it seems that ticket evasion has become a skilled task. You have to pay for your consumption, that is market rule, and ticket evasion is exactly the violation of the rule. However, there are always some people ignoring the rule and even risking their life for ticket evasion.

Professor Shi Peihua from the School of Tourism of Nankai University believes that “it is true that our government and society should do their utmost to save a life, but it must be realized that in case of search and rescue, the process itself typically means a great waste of social public resources, which is unfair, especially when it is the individualized unruly behavior that results in the waste of society. After saving such people, we may cannot help doubting that whether we should encourage such behaviors or such people? Of course not, and that is the reason why we are typically entangled or even speechless after finishing such rescue.”
